Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. Quality Planning & Documentation

Develop and implement Site Quality Plans (SQP) as per project and client requirements.
Review and interpret project drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Ensure availability of quality documents like ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), method statements, and checklists.

2. Inspection & Monitoring

Conduct inspections for civil foundations, structural erection, mechanical assemblies, and electrical installations for wind turbines
Monitor incoming material quality towers, blades, nacelles, PV modules, inverters, transformers, cables, and BOS components.
Verify compliance with OEM guidelines, IS/IEC standards, and environmental regulations.

3. Testing & Verification

Oversee testing activities such as concrete cube tests, weld NDT (RT, UT, MT, PT), earthing resistance, and module performance tests.
Validate electrical systems (LV, MV, HV) installation and commissioning quality.

4. Non-Conformance & Corrective Action

Identify and record NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and ensure timely corrective actions.
Coordinate with contractors and suppliers for rework, repair, or replacement as needed.

5. Coordination & Reporting

Liaise with client representatives, third-party inspectors, and internal teams.
Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports, including photographic documentation.
Participate in site quality audits and internal assessments.
