About the job Job Title: Business Development Executive Reporting: Business Head Location: Gurgaon Function: Client and Vendor Partnerships Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Executive at Singh Textiles in Gurgaon (for all existing and new businesses). The ideal candidate will have experience in all stages of the sales cycle. They should be confident with building new client relationship and maintaining existing ones. They will be responsible for new business development, lead generation, business communication, understanding their requirements, resolving issues, maintaining records, systems and processes that help meet customer standards and expectations effectively and efficiently, and account management to expand the company's client base and partnerships. Job Overview: As the Business Development Executive - Y ou should have strong customer care and client and vendor relations skills and experience. Basic understanding and knowledge of textiles/fabrics is a plus. You will build relationships with prospective clients and maintain consistent contact with existing clients. You will be responsible for new business development, lead generation, business communication, and account management to expand the company's client base and partnerships. You will maintain records, systems and processes that help meet customer standards and expectations effectively and efficiently. You must understand client requirements and help resolve issues. You will track metrics to ensure effective recording, reporting and execution of plans. You will maintain all records and T&As (Time and Action Plans) of orders whilst effective follow ups and communication with business heads and sometimes suppliers and buyers. You should be active in building and maintaining the product and service libraries and portfolios. Key Skills & Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in customer and vendor relations, basic understanding and knowledge of textiles/fabrics is a plus. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field. Certificate / Diploma in Computers - strong and working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience in full sales cycle including deal closing Demonstrated sales success. New Business Development and Lead Generation skills Should have strong analytical, negotiation, research, contracting, follow up and business communication and account management skills. Job Overview and Description This is a full-time role for a Sales and Business Development Manager located on-site in Gurgaon. The Sales and Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving business growth, developing and maintaining client relationships, identifying market opportunities, and achieving sales targets. Daily tasks will include market research, lead generation, client meetings, proposal development, and contract negotiations. R esponsible for new business development, lead generation, business communication, and account management to expand the company's client base and partnerships. Basic understanding and knowledge of textiles/fabrics is a plus. Build relationships with both existing clients and new and prospective clients. Strong sourcing and technical experience in all kinds of printing and printed fabrics. Strong client and vendor relations skills and experience. Key role in negotiating prices, lead times and quality specifications with both suppliers and buyers to close orders. Execute the orders whilst effective follow ups and communication with both suppliers and buyers. Maintain and ensure timely submissions and approvals of all orders as per planned T&As and committed deliveries. Ensure quality standards are maintained as per industry and buyer standards. Follow up for deliveries with logistics and for payments with buyers. Track metrics to ensure effective recording, reporting and execution of plans. Maintain all records, systems and processes. Active in building and maintaining the product and service libraries and portfolios.
