As a Silk Saree Purchase Manager at THE CHENNAI SILKS, you will play a crucial role in leading the silk saree purchasing team. Your responsibilities will include sourcing high-quality silk sarees, negotiating prices with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery to meet the high standards of THE CHENNAI SILKS. Key Responsibilities: - Sourcing: Identify and develop relationships with reliable suppliers of silk sarees. - Quality Control: Inspect silk sarees to ensure they meet quality standards before shipment. - Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels efficiently to minimize waste and maintain adequate stock. - Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of silk sarees. - Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, identify new suppliers, and innovative products in the silk saree industry. Qualifications Required: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Textiles, Fashion, Business Administration, or a related field. - Experience: 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in the textile or fashion industry.
