ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Conceptualizing and implementing creative ideas. Design multilayer PCB layouts using Altium, Eagle, Protel, PADS, and KiCAD. Collaborate with hardware engineers to translate design requirements into functional PCB layouts. Perform schematic capture and layout design for electronic systems. Conduct design reviews to optimize layouts for manufacturability and performance. Implement high-speed design techniques to minimize signal integrity issues. Debug hardware issues during prototype testing phases. Support PCB fabrication and assembly processes with manufacturing partners. Stay updated with industry trends and PCB design tool advancements. Strong understanding of PCB layout techniques and manufacturing constraints. Experience with high-speed digital design and EMI mitigation. Knowledge of hardware debugging tools and ESD protection methods. Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality designs. Manage Gerber release, board fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, penalization drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing design data packages Bill of material preparation for procurement and alternate components checking and incorporation in design Design considerations for EMI/EMC, thermal and mechanical performance enhancement. Technical expertise to handle projects independently Directly adds tangible value to the organization by bringing state-of-the-art design trends, industry best practices, and modern methodologies Knowledge of power electronics, active & passive components Knowledge of Electronics Components assembly on PCB Co-ordinate with a testing engineer for testing & Excellent communication and teamwork skills Knowledge of Circuit Simulations for RF and timing improvements & creation of hardware design document that covers design analysis, notes, and specific guidelines followed QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Bachelor's or Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or relevant stream. 1 to 4 years of experience in PCB & hardware design and development.
