We help online sellers streamline post-purchase experiences through technology-driven logistics, carrier aggregation, and workflow automation. We’re looking for a Software Development Team Lead for Shipeak who’s passionate about building scalable SaaS products and leading a high-performing engineering team. Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor the software development team (Backend, Frontend, DevOps). Own the end-to-end delivery of features, enhancements, and bug fixes for the ShipEak platform. Architect, design, and review scalable, secure, and reliable software systems. Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Manage sprint planning, code reviews, deployments, and development best practices. Optimize application performance, reliability, and security. Evaluate and implement tools, frameworks, and processes to improve development efficiency. Drive team culture focused on collaboration, ownership, and continuous learning. Skills & Requirements: 5–8 years of experience in software development with 2+ years in a team leadership role. Strong proficiency in backend technologies like Node.js, Python, or Java. Good understanding of frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue (preferred React). Experience with REST APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Knowledge of Databases (SQL & NoSQL) and message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.) Familiar with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization ( Docker, Kubernetes ). Ability to break down complex problems and lead technical discussions and decisions. Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills. Prior experience in SaaS, eCommerce, logistics, or shipping tech is a plus but not mandatory. Why Join ShipEak?
