Room & Property Upkeep Clean and service guest rooms and bathrooms according to Sheher Bagh standards. Change and launder linens, towels, and bedding. Ensure all guest amenities (toiletries, water, tea/coffee, etc.) are replenished. Maintain cleanliness of common areas such as lounges, gardens, dining spaces, and verandahs. Dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and deep cleaning as required. Quality & Aesthetic Standards Maintain the visual aesthetic of Sheher Bagh rooms—neat arrangement, décor alignment, and spot checks. Report any maintenance issues (plumbing, electrical, fixtures) immediately. Handle décor items, plants, and linens with care. Guest Service Greet guests politely if encountered during housekeeping rounds. Respond to guest requests for extra towels, cleaning, or amenities. Maintain confidentiality and respect guest privacy at all times. Laundry & Linen Care Manage washing, ironing, folding, and storage of linens. Ensure stock levels are maintained and report shortages in advance. Operational Support Assist with set-up for guest arrivals and turn-down service (if required). Restock housekeeping carts and storage areas. Follow all safety and hygiene protocols. Requirements Prior housekeeping experience in hospitality preferred (hotels, homestays, boutique properties). Good understanding of cleaning practices, products, and hygiene standards. Strong attention to detail and sense of aesthetics. Reliability, punctuality, and a positive work ethic. Ability to work independently as well as part of a small team. Comfort with flexible hours, including weekends or peak periods. Preferred Qualities Warm, polite, and service-oriented attitude. Sense of pride in maintaining beautiful and clean spaces. Willingness to follow Sheher Bagh’s SOPs and brand standards. Basic understanding of English/Hindi instructions.
