Sheeting Detailer Checker with 10+ years experience Position Title : Sheeting Detailer Reports to : Senior Draftsman/Project Manager Location Faridabad Experience 10 years or above Salary As per industry norms Key Responsibilities: 1. Preparation of Detailed Drawings : o Create and modify detailed sheeting drawings for roofing, cladding, and wall systems based on project specifications. o Produce CAD drawings for the construction process. o Ensure the accurate representation of dimensions, materials, and sheeting systems on detailed drawings. 2. Technical Analysis Design : o Interpret architectural and structural plans to accurately draft sheeting details. o Assist in selecting appropriate materials, coatings, and finishes for sheeting systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards. o Work with engineers or project managers to refine and optimize design details as necessary. 3. Collaboration with Teams : o Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other design professionals to ensure all elements of the sheeting design align with the overall building specifications. o Provide technical support and advice on sheeting detailing to other departments or on-site teams. 4. Quality Control Compliance : o Ensure that all sheeting details adhere to local building codes, regulations, and environmental considerations. o Maintain detailed records of all design revisions and updates. 5. Material Specifications : o Specify types of materials (e.g., metal sheets, insulation, fasteners) in accordance with project requirements. o Ensure material quantities and delivery schedules are well-coordinated to prevent delays during the construction phase. 6. Site Visits: o Attend site visits as needed to ensure that the sheeting installation aligns with the provided drawings. o Address any issues or discrepancies found during installation, making adjustments to designs where necessary. 7. Software and Tools : o Use industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD,) for creating and managing drawings. o Use project management tools for tracking progress, deliverables, and revisions. Required Skills Qualifications: Technical Knowledge : Strong understanding of sheeting materials, systems, and construction methods. Software Proficiency : Proficiency in AutoCAD, Attention to Detail : Ability to create precise and detailed drawings. Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, engineers, and other team members. Problem-Solving : Ability to resolve issues related to design or material selection quickly and efficiently. Experience : Candidate must have experience in PEB Industry like pre engineering building cold storage, warehouse. Experience in the roofing and cladding industry is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: Degree or diploma in civil engineering, architectural technology, or a related field. Experience with 3D modeling software and BIM (Building Information Modeling). Work Environment: Office-based, but may involve occasional site visits. May require the ability to work under tight deadlines, particularly during the construction phase of projects.
