Job Description: Senior Project Manager/Project Manager, Electrical Infrastructure Job Summary: We are seeking a driven Project Manager to spearhead the end-to-end delivery of critical projects. You will be the central force ensuring success, managing everything from initial planning through final execution. Planning & Initiation Define and Plan: Collaborates with stakeholders to define the project scope, goals, and deliverables. Develops comprehensive plans, including detailed schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. Feasibility & Compliance: Conducts technical assessments and secures all necessary permits, licenses, and regulatory approvals. 2. Execution & Control Leadership: Leads and motivates multi-disciplinary teams (engineers, field staff, subcontractors) throughout the project lifecycle. Oversight: Oversees all execution phases, from design and procurement to construction, testing, and commissioning. Monitoring & Control: Monitors project progress, financial metrics, and performance against the baseline plan. Implements change management and proactively identifies/mitigates risks and issues. Site Management: Conducts regular site visits to ensure strict adherence to safety, quality standards, and design specifications. 3. Stakeholder Management & Communication Primary Contact: Acts as the main communication point for clients, vendors, internal teams, and regulatory bodies. Reporting: Prepares and presents regular, clear project status reports and forecasts to all stakeholders. Contract Management: Negotiates contracts with vendors and subcontractors to ensure favourable terms and compliance. 4. Quality & Safety Assurance Standards Compliance: Ensures all activities strictly comply with relevant electrical codes (e.g., NEC, IEEE, IEC), industry standards, and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA). Auditing: Implements quality control and champions a strong safety culture through regular safety audits and inspections. 5. Project Closeout Finalization: Manages the closeout process, including final documentation, inspections, warranty management, and financial reconciliation. Improvement: Conducts post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement. Qualifications: Education: Diploma / bachelors degree in electrical engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Experience: 8-10 years of progressive Project Management experience, focusing on electrical infrastructure (substations, T&D, renewable integration). Proven track record of on-time, on-budget delivery Technical Skills: Electrical Expert-level knowledge engineering principles (power systems, protection, control, automation). Familiarity with all relevant codes and standards (NEC, IEEE, IEC, Indian Rules). Proficiency in project management software (P6, MS Project, etc.). Strong ability to interpret technical documentation (drawings, schematics). Soft Skills: Requires exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Must have the ability to juggle multiple projects concurrently while maintaining the highest levels of professionalism and attention to detail. Certifications (Preferred): Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
