ServiceNow ITOM/CMDB Specialist. Location: Remote (IST Timings, with support for EST meetings) Experience: 5+ years in ServiceNow ITOM/CMDB (Discovery Service Mapping) Company: Enterprise Minds Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow ITOM/CMDB Specialist with expertise in Discovery and Service Mapping to join our dynamic team at Enterprise Minds. This is a remote opportunity requiring flexibility to support meetings in the EST time zone . The ideal candidate will manage and enhance ServiceNow Discovery, maintain service mapping accuracy, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient solutions. Key Responsibilities: ServiceNow Discovery Service Mapping: Manage and maintain ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping tools. Create and optimize custom patterns, probes, and sensors for internal discovery needs. Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of discovery and service mapping products. Configuration Maintenance: Establish and manage discovery schedules to maintain updated CMDB records. Monitor discovery results , identify anomalies, and implement necessary corrections. Plan and manage MID Server capacity and ensure effective configuration. Collaboration Project Support: Work closely with Service Owners and SMEs to ensure accurate service maps. Participate in platform upgrades , including planning, testing, and validation. Engage in project planning assign tasks, monitor progress, and deliver results on time. Documentation Standards: Write and review system specifications , including flowcharts and technical diagrams . Follow best practices and maintain technical documentation for future reference. Skills Qualifications: Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITOM/CMDB , specializing in Discovery and Service Mapping . Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of ServiceNow MID Servers and their configuration. Ability to develop and manage custom patterns, probes, and sensors . Collaboration: Experience working with Service Owners, SMEs , and cross-functional teams. Project Management: Ability to plan, track, and deliver project milestones effectively. Documentation: Proficiency in creating detailed system specifications and technical diagrams. Nice to Have: Experience with Event Management within the ServiceNow platform.
