Key Skills for ServiceNow ITOM Developer ServiceNow Expertise Strong knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, including navigation, administration, configuration, and scripting. ITOM Suite Experience – Hands-on experience with IT Operations Management (ITOM) and Configuration Management Database (CMDB). Cloud Infrastructure – Exposure to AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Oracle Cloud. On-Prem Virtual Infrastructure – Experience with VMware or Microsoft Hyper-V. Operating Systems Knowledge – Familiarity with Windows or Linux/Unix environments. Networking Concepts – Understanding of switches, load balancers, subnets, and firewalls. ITIL & Process Automation – Experience with IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes, ticketing, workflow automation, and reporting. Agile Development – Ability to apply Agile software development methodologies. Solution Architecture – Ability to architect and migrate legacy solutions into ServiceNow. Problem-Solving Skills – Strong analytical mindset to resolve technical issues efficiently. Communication & Collaboration – Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with clients and teams. Project Management – Ability to manage work within demanding timelines and guide junior team members. Certifications (Preferred) – ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or other relevant ServiceNow certifications.
