Service/Field Engineer Audio Visual

Role Overview: As a Service/Field Engineer Audio Visual (AV), you will be an integral part of our service team, responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and technical support of AV systems at client sites. Your role will involve working with various audio systems, video conferencing systems, digital signage, control systems, and structured cabling to ensure seamless operations and high-quality service delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and commission AV systems such as video walls, displays, projectors, sound systems, microphones, and control systems. - Perform on-site maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of AV equipment and integrated systems. - Provide remote and on-site support to address AV-related issues at client locations. - Conduct routine preventive maintenance and health checks to ensure optimal performance. - Interpret AV drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics accurately. - Coordinate with OEMs and vendors for necessary support and replacement parts. - Document service calls, prepare detailed reports, and update asset tracking systems accordingly. - Ensure minimal downtime and maximum availability of AV equipment at client sites. - Train end-users and offer post-installation support as required. - Follow safety, ESD, and site compliance norms during installation and service activities. - Be prepared to travel frequently to various customer locations within the region. Qualifications Required: - ITI/Diploma/Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or a related technical field. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in AV systems installation/service, preferably. - Hands-on knowledge of AV control systems (Crestron, AMX, Extron), Audio DSPs (Biamp, QSC, BSS), Video conferencing systems (Cisco, Poly, Zoom Rooms), Display technologies (LED walls, projectors, interactive panels), Signal distribution (HDBaseT, HDMI matrix, switchers), and basic networking and IP configuration skills. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. - Willingness to travel and work flexible hours when necessary. - Excellent communication and customer handling skills.
