Job Description

What we expect Supervise and support a team of elevator service technicians in performing maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting tasks. Schedule and prioritize service calls, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs. Conduct site visits to monitor work quality, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction. Provide technical guidance to technicians on complex repairs or escalated issues. Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations, building codes, and manufacturer specifications. Monitor technician productivity, job completion, and adherence to timelines. Train new hires and conduct regular skills assessments for team members. Maintain service records, equipment logs, and performance reports. Liaise with customers to address concerns, provide updates, and ensure service excellence. Collaborate with management on resource planning, inventory needs, and workflow improvements. Who we are looking for Diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in elevator technology is preferred. Valid Elevator Mechanic License (as per local/state regulations). 5+ years of experience in elevator service/repair, including leadership or supervisory experience. In-depth knowledge of elevator systems (mechanical, electrical, and control systems). Familiarity with safety standards (e.g., OSHA, ASME A17.1) and inspection protocols. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and service documentation. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and service management software. Valid driver s license and willingness to travel to job sites.
