Job Description Job Profile: Depot cum Equipment Service Manager /service coordinator Portable Refrigerated Containers Location: Dighode Navi Mumbai -Uran (JNPT)(Travelling is mandatory) kindly find JD for Service Head / Service Manager. Joining: Immediate joiners Preference: Male candidates Objective To oversee the depot and yard operations, manage equipment, spares, tools, and technicians, ensure the maintenance and quality of refrigerated and other containers, handle customer interactions, and ensure the safety and eiciency of all operations. Roles & Responsibilities Depot Management: • Oversee the depot, yard, and all containers (Reefer, dry, tank). • Manage equipment, spares, tools, and technicians. • Ensure maintenance, repairs, and quality inspections of all containers. • Handle customer interactions and respond promptly to their needs. Inventory Management: • Maintain stock of spares and consumables. • Manage inventory of containers, equipment, and tools across India. Quality Control: • Ensure quality parameters are met before dispatch. • Manage painting of containers, logos, and stickers. Operations Management: • 24x7 operational oversight. • Resolve breakdowns within 24-72 hours. • Implement IoT tracking for containers. Staff and Vendor Management: • Manage ground-level staff (Technicians, Painters etc.). • Coordinate with vendors for spare parts etc., and ensure timely payment of bills. • Create and manage job orders. Cost Management: • Implement cost-saving measures. • Manage travel for local and other depot operations. Safety and Documentation: • Ensure yard, container, and staff safety. • Maintain MIS reports and documentation. Required: • B.E / B. Tech / Business Administration / Operations Management, or a related field. • Proven experience in operations management, preferably in logistics or portable refrigerated containers. • Strong organizational and multitasking skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, will also interact with clients / customers. • Proficiency in inventory management and logistics software. • Strong execution capabilities to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on time. Mandatory: • Practical knowledge of repair and maintenance procedures for refrigerated containers. • Experience in handling refrigerated containers, technicians etc... • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities. • Strong problem-solving skills and a mindset geared towards increasing operational efficiency.
