Job Overview:

The Service Captain plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations of the restaurant's dining area. This position is responsible for maintaining high standards of customer service, ensuring team coordination between bar, kitchen, and housekeeping, and creating a welcoming environment for guests with no space for complaints.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the front-of-the-house at Chakos
• Ensure guests are greeted warmly and provided with prompt, courteous, and efficient service.
• Conduct daily briefings with the service team regarding specials, menu changes, or guest preferences.
• Ensure tables are set properly and the dining area is clean and well-presented at all times.
• Handle guest concerns with professionalism
• Coordinate with the kitchen and bar team to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
• Maintain hygiene and grooming standards for all team members.
• Train new service staff and ensure adherence to Chakos’ service standards.
• Monitor inventory levels of service equipment and coordinate requisitions if needed.
• Ensure billing and cash handling procedures are accurately followed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role in a high-paced restaurant or bar.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bonus: Speaks or understands Malayalam
• Strong leadership qualities
• Knowledge of food and beverage service, including cocktails and Kerala cuisine (preferred).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency in POS systems and basic billing procedures.

Pay: From ₹18,000.00 per month
