Server Support Engineer

Role Overview: As a Server Support Engineer at Inspirisys, your primary responsibility will be to manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the organization's server infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in troubleshooting server-related issues, ensuring system performance, and maintaining the security and availability of server environments. Your expertise will be essential in monitoring server operations, applying patches and updates, and collaborating with other IT teams to support critical applications. Moreover, you will contribute significantly to disaster recovery planning, data backup management, and implementing best practices for optimal server performance and uptime. Key Responsibilities: - Experience in all aspects of Windows Server, such as installation, configuration, administration, troubleshooting, and adherence to best practices. - Proficiency in working with virtualization platforms like VMware, Hyper-V, and Citrix XenServer. - Competence in Windows Server performance tuning to enhance system efficiency. - Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve Windows Server issues, conduct root cause analysis, and configure systems effectively. - Familiarity with enterprise monitoring systems and ticketing systems to manage server operations efficiently. - Exposure to server backups, restores, and maintenance of Active Directory along with Windows technologies like DNS and DHCP. - Ability to script for automating daily tasks and familiarity with disaster recovery procedures. Qualification: - Any UG/PG degree coupled with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Windows server support. - Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams. - ITIL Certification is preferred to demonstrate expertise in IT service management.,
