Server Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities: Troubleshoot complex issues on Windows/Linux servers. Install patches, updates, and perform regular server maintenance. Document existing and planned server infrastructure. Assist in technical design, improvements, and capacity planning. Collaborate with IT teams (support, network, security, architecture). Optimize server resources and recommend necessary upgrades. Requirements: Fluent English. Experience with Windows/Linux server administration (2016/2019). Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VMware, and Hyper-V. Basic to intermediate Linux knowledge (Red Hat/Ubuntu) is a plus. Familiarity with backup, web filtering, and cloud technologies (AWS, Google, Microsoft) is an advantage. Understanding of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, topologies). Problem-solving skills (troubleshooting, root cause analysis). ITIL knowledge/certification is a plus. Ability to work under pressure and in cross-cultural teams. Experience with Bash and PowerShell scripting.
