Role Overview

SEO Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Execution:

    Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive SEO strategies combining technical, on-page, and off-page optimization to drive qualified organic traffic and conversions.
  • Keyword & Content Strategy:

    Perform keyword research, content gap analysis, and search intent mapping to guide high-impact content creation and optimization.
  • Technical SEO:

    Conduct regular SEO audits to identify and resolve issues related to crawling, indexing, and site architecture; collaborate with developers to ensure optimal website performance.
  • On-Page Optimization:

    Manage optimization of titles, meta tags, headers, internal linking, and image attributes to improve visibility and CTR. Proven experience in backlink strategy, link-building campaigns, and off-page optimization.
  • Content Optimization for AI & SERP Features:

    Design and execute strategies for AI-driven search algorithms and SERP enhancements including Featured Snippets, AI Overviews, FAQs, and People Also Ask results.
  • Analytics & Reporting:

    Leverage analytics tools (GA4, GSC, Microsoft Clarity, etc.) to measure performance, monitor keyword trends, and generate actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Competitor & Market Analysis:

    Conduct ongoing competitor benchmarking to identify new ranking opportunities and content trends.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    Partner with web development, design, and content teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented across all digital assets.
  • Leadership & Mentorship:

    Guide and mentor SEO Analysts, fostering a culture of analytical thinking, innovation, and measurable growth.

Required Skills & Expertise

  • Strong understanding of web technologies, HTML/CSS, and site performance optimization.
  • Advanced knowledge of SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and All in One SEO.
  • Proven experience in backlink strategy, link-building campaigns, and off-page optimization.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other analytics platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-powered SEO tools and automation platforms.
  • Solid understanding of evolving search engine algorithms and SEO industry trends.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, tech, and design teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in SEO strategy, execution, and team management.
  • Proven track record of improving organic visibility and driving measurable business results.
  • Passion for continuous learning, innovation, and data-driven growth.
