SEO Specialist

Job Responsibilities

• Perform keyword research, competitor analysis, and on-page/off-page SEO activities.
• Optimize website content, meta tags, images, and internal/external links to improve search engine rankings.
• Implement effective link-building strategies and outreach campaigns.
• Monitor, track, and analyze website performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, and other SEO tools.
• Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, and digital marketing best practices.
• Prepare SEO performance reports and present progress to the team/clients.
• Handle Google My Business (GMB) SEO, including profile optimization, posting, review management, ranking improvement, and local SEO activities.
• Create, manage, and maintain GMB profiles — knowledge of GMB setup, verification, categories, geo-targeting, and local visibility improvement is mandatory.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, or a related field (preferred).
• 1 to 4 years of proven SEO experience.
• Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO strategies.
• Hands-on experience with tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or similar platforms.
• Practical knowledge of GMB SEO, GMB profile management, and local SEO (mandatory).
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and website structure (preferred).
• Strong communication, analytical, and reporting skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
