Position Summary:

Content Writer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation:

  • Write, edit, and proofread high-quality content for our website, including landing pages, service descriptions, blog posts, articles, and product pages.
  • Develop compelling and engaging copy that aligns with our brand voice and marketing goals.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to ensure content is visually appealing and integrated seamlessly with website design.
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO):

  • Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-traffic search terms and content opportunities.
  • Optimize all web content for SEO, including meta descriptions, title tags, headings, and internal links, to improve organic search rankings.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and algorithm changes to ensure content remains effective.
  • Content Strategy & Management:

  • Assist in developing and maintaining a content calendar.
  • Regularly audit and update existing website content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and performance.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand content needs and translate business objectives into effective content.
  • User Experience (UX):

  • Write content with a focus on user experience, ensuring it is easy to read, scannable, and guides users towards desired actions (e.g., call-to-actions).
  • Ensure content is accessible and well-structured for all users.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Web Content Writer, Content Creator, or a similar role.
  • A strong portfolio of published web content, including articles, blog posts, or website copy.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
  • Solid understanding of

    SEO principles

    and how to apply them to web content.
  • Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field is preferred.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Experience with keyword research tools
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics and other data analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with email marketing and social media content creation.
