Senior/Staff/Principal Verification Engineer - Media IP

As an experienced and highly motivated verification engineer, you have the opportunity to join the Arm Systems Media IP team. The team focuses on developing Image Signal Processors (ISPs), Display Processors, and Video codecs for Arm Compute Subsystems across various markets such as automotive, IoT, and client segments. Your responsibilities will include specifying and developing new hardware verification testbenches, improving existing testbenches for enhanced performance, quality, and efficiency, and identifying areas for process and methodology improvements to advance best practices for hardware verification. This role offers ample opportunities to shape the team's future and your own career progression. **Key Responsibilities:** - Verification ownership of unit level or multi-unit hierarchy, or verification lead of an overall IP (ISP, Display, Video) - Architecting verification IP and full verification environments - Reviewing and assessing proposed design changes for verification complexity - Analyzing simulation data using machine learning and data science techniques for efficient bug discovery - Identifying process and methodology improvement opportunities for hardware verification efficiency - Collaborating closely with other Arm engineering teams to deliver high-quality IP - Mentoring and supporting other team members **Qualifications Required:** - Experience in constrained-random verification and creating complex verification environments - Proficiency in SV-UVM and developing reusable, scalable code - Strong scripting skills for supporting flows - Solid software engineering skills with knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms - Familiarity with testbenches development tools and processes - Previous technical and/or team leadership skills for senior positions **"Nice to Have" Skills and Experience:** - Team leadership and mentoring experience - Knowledge of multiprocessing microarchitecture and bus protocols (e.g., AMBA APB/AHB/AXI) - Past experience in Formal Verification testbenches - Experience in video codec, ISP, or display projects with knowledge of advanced image processing algorithms - Familiarity with Functional Safety product development for the Automotive market - Experience with Continuous Integration flows In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your engineering skills, influence millions of devices, and contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies.
