Senior Windows Engineer with Cloud

Reporting to the Cloud Team Leader and will be working with a team of systems administrators to manage and maintain the client infrastructure using cutting-edge technologies and real-time data. You will be working for our Australia based client. REQUIRED COMPETENCIES: Experience working in an enterprise environment with technical expertise within the Microsoft stack including Azure, Intune, O365, Windows servers. Experience in managing Windows Servers for Domain Controllers, Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, File Servers (DFSR) and DNS. Strong practical knowledge of Windows server operating systems. Demonstrated network engineering delivery experience gained within large, complex environments. AWS/Azure networking experience Technical knowledge of AWS namely, RDS, VPC, EKS, ECS, Ec2, AWS CLI, S3, Cloud Watch, etc. Understanding and working experience on VPC and networking concepts (transit gateway, routine, etc) within AWS Experience in infrastructure orchestration using Cloud Formation or Terraform Experience with CI/CD, automation, and configuration management. AWS network configuration and security best practice Detailed experience in DNS, Firewalls, PowerShell scripting/python/bash Superior troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues within mixed software, hardware, network, and database environments. Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal to other teams on security related matters. Amenable to provide after-hours support. DESIRED COMPETENCIES: AWS solution architect certification Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate Azure or Office 365 Certification Ansible QUALIFICATIONS: Candidate must possess at least a Bachelors/College Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), or equivalent experience. Solid background in managing Windows Environment and with experience in AWS Networking.
