Senior Video & Animation Editor

Job Overview:

We’re looking for a Senior Video & Animation Editor who’s not just great with timelines and keyframes, but someone who genuinely loves crafting stories through motion. If you enjoy taking raw ideas, shaping them into polished visuals, and experimenting with new formats and tools (including AI), you’ll feel right at home with us. 

You’ll lead creative executions, support junior editors, and help raise the bar for video across all our digital marketing workflows. We’d also love someone who naturally brings fresh ideas to the table and enjoys staying on top of trends and new techniques. Key Responsibilities:

• Edit high-quality videos for campaigns, social media, branding videos, explainers, webinars and more. 
• Create sleek 2D animations, motion graphics, typography sequences and visual elements that elevate storytelling. 
• Collaborate with the creative, social, and content teams to bring concepts to life. 
• Develop, maintain, and optimise editing workflows and creative processes. 
• Oversee junior editors—guiding, reviewing, and helping them grow. 
• Ensure every video aligns with brand identity and creative direction. 
• Research and implement AI-driven and next-gen tools to speed up workflows and improve quality. 
• Manage project timelines and deliverables with minimal oversight. 

Required Skills and Technical Expertise:

• Strong proficiency in

  Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects

  , Photoshop, Illustrator and Canva. 
• Experience with DaVinci Resolve (colour grading knowledge is a bonus). 
• Advanced motion graphics and animation skills. 
• Solid understanding of storytelling, pacing, sound design, and visual composition. 
• Familiarity with

  AI-powered tools

  such as: 

Runway ML, Midjourney, Firefly, Heygen, Synthesia, Veed.io, Descript, etc.

• Ability to set up templates, reusable project structures, and custom motion graphic packages. 
• Knowledge of codecs, export settings, and file management best practices. 

Desired Candidate Profile:

• 5+ years of hands-on editing and animation experience. 
• A strong portfolio showcasing storytelling skills, animations, and polished edits. 
• Someone who enjoys experimenting, staying updated on trends, and pushing creative boundaries. 
• A self-driven team player who can take feedback well and give constructive input. 
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work smoothly with cross-functional teams. 

Additional Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of sound design, SFX libraries, or basic audio mixing. 
• Understanding of social-first video formats and platform-specific trends. 
• Ability to create mood boards, style frames, and visual references. 
• Interest in automation, workflow optimisation, and new creative technologies. 
• Experience in 3D tools like
