Job Description

Purpose of this role: Developing and executing a multi-year technology strategy supporting the full range of business services. Work with the leadership team to set clear priorities and goals for IT management and production, balancing the long-term and immediate needs. Partnering with all business verticals to ensure excellent customer experience through technology Building a strong technology team and leading them to deliver the tech strategy of the company, including managing of the in-house software team Leading upgradation and building of tech products, both front end applications and back office softwares, including CRM, to ensure best in class user experience Optimizing and managing the technology network in a manner it delivers high efficiency with sufficient resilience and yet managing costs effectively Bringing technological innovation in the company - discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage Lead strategic insight and overview of business case justifications and ROI analysis for IT spending and initiatives Developing and maintaining overall framework of IT policies, standards and strategies Prepare IT budgets and monitor KPIs to assess technological performance Bring data analytics solutions and artificial intelligence capabilities to our platforms As part of business continuity plan, ensure there is no failure in business operations and appropriate disaster recovery plans are in place and regularly tested for readiness for unforeseen and unexpected events which can impact the business continuity Develop and manage annual and quarterly budgets. Oversee data security, management, and governance. Manage strategic vendor and technology partner relationships. Manage IT resource allocation, goal/KPI setting, and performance metrics. Ability to lead complex, major changes /transformation initiatives; demonstrated skills in change management on an organizational and interpersonal level; experience with integrating teams across multiple business units and managing a geographically dispersed workforce. No. of direct subordinates:-8 Main Responsibility Key Result Area 1. Knowledge of developing software solutions and exposure to real world architecture in Insurance / Financial services 2. Ability to provide an excellent customer/client experience, underpinned by a lean cost base, strong controls and a culture of collaboration, innovation and high performance. 3. Very strong strategic vision. 4. Up to date with the current (and future) levels of IT security, threats, vulnerabilities 5. Excellent organizational skills 6. Exceptional team management skills. 7.
