Job Description

Your role: As a Senior UX Designer in the Ambulatory Monitoring Diagnostics (AMD) Experience Design team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how users interact with advanced health monitoring solutions that positively impact lives every day. Partnering closely with global multidisciplinary teams, you will craft designs that align with the businesss goals while delivering safe, intuitive, and delightful experiences for our customers . You are responsible for: Driving project scope and outcomes as the main point of contact for product managers, developers, and other stakeholders, ensuring alignment and effective communication. Managing the entire design process, including concept ideation, wireframing, prototyping, final UI design, design specifications, implementation support, and design Quality Assurance (QA). Applying user-centered design principles and best practices to create consistent, high-quality user experiences aligned with the Philips brand and Design Language System (DLS). Supporting usability testing and leveraging insights to continuously refine and improve designs. Supporting UX telemetry efforts, identifying key metrics, event taxonomies, and tracking performance to measure design impact. Creating and maintaining standard design documentation in alignment with internal Quality Management Systems (QMS). To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience: Bachelors or Master s degree in Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. Minimum 6-10 years of experience in UX design, preferably in the health tech industry. Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, and InVision, with the ability to adapt to emerging tools and trends. Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for tackling complex design challenges. Ability to navigate ambiguity and propose innovative, user-centered solutions. Excellent communication skills, including proficiency in written and spoken English, to effectively collaborate with diverse teams, present ideas to stakeholders, and document processes. Proactive mindset for advocating user needs and driving design decisions that align with Philips mission to deliver better care to more people
