Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT (or equivalent experience)
6 to 7 years of experience in Testing of TV and Media applications Working knowledge of Set Top Box/OTT/CE architecture is an added advantage Knowledge of MPEG, IPTV, Streaming, ABR/DASH, , DRM & DVB Standards Knowledge of HDMI, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Discovery, Dolby standards and Airplay Knowledge of any test management tool (Jira, testrail, Azure) Experience of software quality processes & development lifecycle Good interpersonal, communication, presentation and reporting skills
Perform TV testing
Document defects and drive them to closureWork closely with a worldwide team of developers, testers, and support personnelDevelop test plans to for PRD validationLead the validation testing of failing cases and user test casesCollect data to assist in root cause failure analysisPerform ad-hoc testingGenerate test reports
