In this role as a Senior Modernization Software Engineer at ExperSolve, an Ensono company, you will lead a team responsible for modernizing clients" mainframe solutions by migrating legacy applications to modern platforms like Java Spring and C# .NET using automated tools. Your responsibilities include leading client meetings, developing core Java or C# libraries, and providing technical leadership on projects to ensure modernized code performs as intended. **Responsibilities:** - Leading client meetings and interaction, serving as the relentless ally for the client - Applying Java or C# coding skills in an Eclipse or Visual Studio modernization environment - Developing core Java or C# libraries for modernized environments - Assuming technical leadership on projects to test modernized code - Ensuring appropriate analysis of problems and implementing code corrections and improvements - Providing consultation and guidance to junior team members **Required Qualifications:** - 7+ years of coding experience in Java or C#, SQL - Experience in software testing, debugging, troubleshooting - Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills - Object-oriented programming in Java, C#, or similar languages - Experience with Eclipse or Visual Studio, Spring or .NET, Relational Databases (SQL/MYSQL/ORACLE) **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience in mentoring junior colleagues - Familiarity with AWS and Azure cloud technologies - Undergraduate/Post Graduate degree, coding boot camp certification, or equivalent experience - Familiarity with legacy languages or databases like Mainframe, IDEAL, COBOL, CICS, JCL, Datacom, DB2 Ensono values your success and offers comprehensive strategic and managed services for mission-critical applications.
