Senior Technical Writer

As a Senior Technical Writer at our company, your role will be crucial in creating engaging product documentation and enhancing the customer experience. You will collaborate with product managers and subject matter experts to deliver high-quality documentation in compliance with standards and timelines. Your expertise in technical writing and communication skills will be utilized in creating product demo videos and conceptual videos. Key Responsibilities: - Plan, develop, organize, write, and update product documentation. - Collaborate with product managers and SMEs to gather information and analyze requirements. - Review junior writers" drafts for clarity, accuracy, and style compliance. - Prepare charts, graphics, illustrations, and screen captures to support documentation. - Produce documentation for both print and online help systems. - Use MadCap Flare for authoring and editing technical content. - Develop scripts and storyboards for short tutorials and explainer videos. - Create videos using tools such as Canva and Camtasia. - Provide writing, editing, and design support to team members. - Identify opportunities for improving documentation delivery to customers. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Technical Writing, English, Journalism, or related field. - 6-10 years of experience in a technical writer position in the software industry. - Experience with MadCap Flare, Camtasia, and Canva. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Knowledge of XML, HTML, CSS, and version control systems. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. - Ability to work on multiple projects with minimal supervision.
