Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Specialist to lead initiatives in sheet metal forming simulation and costing & Metal Additive simulation software business . The candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise, driving innovation and supporting business growth. This is a Business Development role requiring a deep understanding of techno-commercial aspects of sheet metal forming issues, process planning ,tool costing and business related aspects such as customer engagement and business growth . Key Responsibilities: 1. Technical Expertise: Lead and manage complex projects involving customer challenges in sheet metal forming simulation and optimization. Utilize advanced simulation tools such as FTI, AutoForm, PAMSTAMP, LS-DYNA, Hyperform, or similar software for formability analysis and defect prediction. Deep knowledge of Sheetmetal formability, Process plan and tool cost estimation for sheetmetal forming processes 2. Business Growth: Collaborate with sales and business development teams to identify new opportunities in the sheet metal forming domain. Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored technical solutions. Support the development of technical proposals and participate in client presentations. 3. Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Drive innovation by developing and implementing new methods and tools for simulation and costing. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in sheet metal forming technologies. Provide training and mentorship to junior team members. 4. Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to enhance business collaboration. Represent the organization at industry conferences, trade shows, and technical forums. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Specialization in Tool Design will be added advantage. 8–10 years of experience in sheet metal forming simulation and costing, with proven expertise in simulation software (e.g. FTI, AutoForm, HyperForm, PAMSTAMP). In-depth knowledge of sheet metal materials, forming processes, and tooling design. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on cost optimization. Excellent communication and presentation skills for interacting with clients Proven track record of contributing to business growth through technical expertise Why Join Us?
