For team members situated within 50 kms/31 miles of our five global offices in Ottawa, Eldoret, Penang, Columbus, Pune and Amsterdam, you can expect to come into the office 1-3 days a week. Similarly, those near our co-working spaces in Nairobi and Toronto are encouraged to work onsite once a month.We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Senior Technical Manager who combines strong technical depth withleadership skills. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, mentoring teams, andstaying close to technology while driving impactful projects.You’ll operate in a high-trust CI/CD environment—every commit goes to production, and there’s no separateQA team. That means you’ll be responsible for setting expectations and ensuring quality practices areembedded in the development process. You’ll drive the creation of automated test coverage strategies, webapp development and documentation.We work with the latest technology and plan to keep doing so. Our team uses tools like GitHub Copilot to helpwith AI-powered coding, Lucid for architectural design, and we’re always open to trying new tools that can helpus create better experiences for our customers.Our Product Tech Stack will Includes:▸ ASP.NET▸ C#▸ Angular▸ SQL▸ TypeScript,▸ CI/CD tooling.▸ AWS▸ REST APIsWe value system thinking, performance, and platform maintainability.Key responsibilities include:▸ Technical Leadership: Own architecture decisions, ensure best practices, and guide the team in buildinghigh-quality applications.▸ Hands-On Contribution: Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot critical issues, and occasionallycontribute to coding for complex modules.▸ Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation andaccountability.▸ Project Delivery: Drive end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring timelines, scalability, and performance.▸ Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and business teams to align technicalsolutions with business goals.▸ Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with emerging technologies and introduce relevant tools andpractices to the team.By leading the development of this cloud-native, event-driven architecture, you'll enable rapid iteration,scalability, and future extensibility of the RM Foundational Pilot platform.Qualifications
▸ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practicalexperience).▸ 10+ years of experience in software development and technical leadership.▸ Proven ability to balance hands-on coding with team management.▸ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.▸ Passion for technology and continuous learning.▸ Experience in agile environments and modern development practices.▸ Frontend: Strong experience with Angular (latest versions).▸ Backend: Proficiency in Python OR C# for building APIs and services.▸ Database: Expertise in SQL and relational database design.▸ Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and▸ microservices.▸ Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.▸ Strong debugging, performance tuning, and optimization skills.Preferred Qualifications
▸ Strong understanding of event-driven and asynchronous workflows in cloud environments.▸ Familiarity with data platform integration, including medallion architectures (Bronze, Silver, Gold) andanalytics consumption patterns.▸ Experience leading distributed teams across time zones (North America ↔ India).▸ Familiarity with data-driven compliance products, supply-chain domains, or enterprise securitystandards (SOC 2, ISO 27001).Additional Information
