Senior Team Lead SAP EHS Environment Health & Safety

Summary:

Senior Team Lead SAP EHS will oversee the strategic implementation and management of SAP Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) solutions within the organization. This leadership role requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in EHS practices across the organization.

Role & responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  - Lead and mentor a team of SAP EHS professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance.

  - Design, configure, and implement SAP EHS solutions to enhance organizational compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.

  - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective EHS strategies and solutions.

  - Ensure that SAP EHS practices align with local and global regulatory standards, promoting a safe and compliant work environment.

  - Conduct regular evaluations of EHS systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimize performance.

  - Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring effective utilization of SAP EHS functionalities.

  - Act as the primary point of contact for EHS inquiries, issues, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  - Stay current with industry trends, SAP advancements, and regulatory changes affecting EHS to inform strategic decision-making.

Preferred candidate profile:

Qualifications:

  - Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety, Engineering, or a related field; Masters degree preferred.

  - Extensive experience in SAP EHS module implementation and management.

  - Proven leadership experience in managing teams and large-scale EHS projects.

  - Strong knowledge of relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations and compliance standards (e.g., OSHA, EPA).

  - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.

  - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  - Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management practices is a plus.

  - SAP certification in EHS or related fields is highly desirable.

- Ability to work onsite in Bangalore, India

- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and client engagement skills.

- Demonstrated stable work history with long-term accountability in prior roles.

- Experience working in global delivery or multi-geography AMS environments.

- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-visibility offshore leadership role with consistent US time-zone overlap.

- Strong written and verbal English (required)

- Experience with US/EU companies (preferred)
