Senior Structural Engineer

As a Senior Structural Engineer at our company, you will be involved in designing, analyzing, and validating complex structural systems for marine and heavy transport projects. Your role will require you to ensure the highest standards of engineering quality, compliance with industry regulations, and effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Your technical leadership is crucial in delivering practical and innovative structural solutions that meet client requirements and contribute to the development of the engineering team. Key Responsibilities: - Perform structural calculations using software like ANSYS/Dlubal RFEM. - Design sea fastening concepts and steel structures for heavy cargo transport. - Generate FE calculation models of heavy lift vessels using ANSYS/Dlubal RFEM. - Evaluate results and prepare calculation reports. - Ensure quality assurance of the FEA model, calculation, and project documentation. - Support R&D projects for developing next-generation support structures for heavy cargo transportation. - Train and guide colleagues, review reports, and develop FEA methodologies. Required Skills and Qualifications: - Bachelor's or master's degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related disciplines. - Minimum 3 years of experience in designing and analyzing steel structures. - Expertise in FEA Software. - Strong fundamentals in structural mechanics. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in steel structure design and FE calculations. - Experience in calculations of bolted and welded joints. - Familiarity with design standard requirements such as DNV and Eurocode. Preferred Skills and Qualifications: - Knowledge of maritime/offshore industry. - Proficiency in ANSYS/Dlubal RFEM. - Ability to handle complex design tasks independently. - Programming knowledge in Python, Excel VBA, or similar languages.
