Job Overview: We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior SQL Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and Azure technologies, and be passionate about working in an Agile environment. You will play a critical role in understanding business requirements, analyzing technical flows, and implementing new features or tasks using SSRS, SSIS, SQL, and Azure-based solutions. This role demands solid communication skills, critical thinking, and the ability to problem-solve in a collaborative team setting. Key Responsibilities: Domain Understanding & Technical Design: Analyze and understand the business domain, and technical flows of applications to develop solutions that meet business needs. Database Development: Write optimized SQL code, stored procedures, and queries to support business processes, utilizing strong knowledge of SQL Server. ETL Development: Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) to automate data workflows. Reporting & Analytics: Design and implement reports using SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) to provide meaningful insights to stakeholders. Cloud Data Solutions: Utilize Azure Data Factory , Azure SQL Data Warehouse , and Azure SQL Database to build, manage, and optimize cloud data solutions. Data Visualization: Leverage Power BI or similar visualization tools to create interactive dashboards and reports. Azure Storage Solutions: Work with Azure Blob Storage and Azure Data Lake for efficient data storage and management. Agile Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile methodology, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and reviews. Source Control: Use version control tools like VSTS and TFS to manage and track code changes. Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking: Proactively identify issues and challenges, providing solutions that optimize processes and improve system performance. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience: 6-10 years of experience in database development, working with SSIS , SSRS , and SQL Server . Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in SSIS , SSRS , and SQL Server for data integration, reporting, and query optimization. Experience with Azure Data Factory , Azure SQL Data Warehouse , and Azure SQL Database . Hands-on experience in building and managing Power BI dashboards and reports. Knowledge of Azure Storage solutions like Blob Storage and Data Lake . Methodologies: Demonstrated experience working in an Agile environment, collaborating with team members, and delivering on project goals. Source Control: Familiarity with VSTS and TFS for version control and code management. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Problem Solving: Strong critical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze issues and provide effective solutions.
