Senior Specialist - Accounting and Taxation

As a Senior Specialist at TMF Group, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Accounting and taxation team. Your attention to detail and strong leadership skills will be key in overseeing Accounting and taxation processes. Here are the key responsibilities you will handle: - Supporting the team with daily operational tasks. - Performing reconciliations to ensure accuracy. - Ensuring statutory compliances are met. - Handling queries effectively and efficiently. - Coordinating with internal and external counterparts. - Demonstrating strong leadership skills. - Fostering a service-oriented culture within the team. - Contributing to improving operational efficiency. In addition, your primary responsibilities will include: - Performing General Ledger Reconciliation & Accounting Support using Oracle software. - Maintaining parallel accounting records using Tally and ensuring compliance with Indian GAAP. - Preparing financial statements and compiling management summaries based on financial data. - Managing annual audit compliance procedures independently. - Addressing and resolving queries related to financial transactions. - Maintaining relationships with banking institutions. - Ensuring timely task completion through stakeholder coordination. - Effectively communicating with individuals and departments, responding promptly to inquiries. - Possessing strong interpersonal communication skills to coordinate with internal and external counterparts. To excel in this role, you should have the following technical competencies: - Strong foundation in accounting principles, practices, and procedures. - Proficiency in key accounting concepts such as accruals, amortization, and depreciation. - Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field. - Minimum 3-4 years of accounting/finance experience, post CA/CMA Inter. - Advanced skills in MS Excel and MS Word. - Familiarity with accounting software like Oracle, Tally, and SAP. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Strong leadership abilities for team management and client coordination. - Detail-oriented with a proactive and results-driven approach. - Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
