Senior Software Engineer - React

Job Purpose:

The React Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and user-friendly web applications using React and related technologies for BI & Analytics platform. The role contributes directly to Cendyn’s mission of delivering intelligent, integrated, and guest-centric hospitality technology solutions through secure, efficient, and modern front-end experiences.

Job Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

• Hands-on development to create responsive, reusable, and maintainable UI components using React.js, TypeScript, and Redux (or similar state management libraries) for BI & Analytics platform.
• Integrate front-end logic with RESTful APIs, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with Backend Developers, QA Engineers, Product Managers, and UX Designers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Optimize web applications for speed, responsiveness, and accessibility across browsers and devices.
• Participate in code reviews, enforce TDD/Unit testing, and maintain high standards of code quality and performance.
• Work within Agile/Scrum teams, contributing to sprint planning, estimation, and delivery milestones.
• Debug and resolve complex UI issues, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Contribute to front-end architecture decisions and evolution of design systems and reusable component libraries.
• Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development and proposed solutions.
• Follows company software development standards and best practices
• Develop technical specifications
• Estimates development tasks based on the appropriate business constraints
• Review and refactor code and use SonarQube
• Document development and operational procedures
• Reviews and validates implementations of self and others to ensure they meet requirements and match the specifications
• Mentors, coaches and supports junior engineers.
• Enforces and evolves software development standards and best practices
• Troubleshoot software issues
• Provide on-call support as necessary
• Use AI CodeGen tools (GitHub Copilot or AI Cursor)

Requirements:

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Advanced certifications in React, JavaScript, or Front-End frameworks are a plus.
• At least 5+ years professional experience in all stages of definition, design, implementation, testing, and deployment of frontend solutions using React.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, ES6+, TypeScript, and responsive web design principles.
• Experience with state management libraries (Redux, MobX, Recoil, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with API integration, version control (Git), and Agile methodologies.
• Exposure to CICD pipelines, containerized environments (Docker), and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) preferred.
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility, accessibility (WCAG), and performance optimization best practices.
• Experience with Agile (Scrum) Software Development Process and methodologies
• Experience with SQL database management, Power BI and security a plus.
• Experience with source control such as git or git hub and branching/merging best practices
• Analytical skills
• Communication skills

Work Timings:

Monday through Friday from 12 PM to 9 PM IST to provide healthy overlap between India team and US team and supporting both to ensure adequate collaboration. This role will be working in Hybrid Mode and will require at least 2 days’ work from office at Hyderabad. Occasional evening and weekend work may be expected in case of job-related emergencies or client needs.
