Senior Software Engineer - NodeJS

Lexitas has established a subsidiary in Chennai, India - Lexitas India Pvt. Ltd., which will be the Lexitas Global Capability Center, focusing on building a world-class IT development team and serving as a Shared Services hub for corporate functions. Your key roles and responsibilities will include: - Designing and developing scalable, high-performance applications using Node.js with TypeScript. - Building and maintaining front-end applications using React or other modern frameworks. - Architecting and implementing agentic AI applications, utilizing frameworks like langchain with Large Language Models (LLMs) for intelligent workflows. - Integrating workflow automation platforms such as Camunda into enterprise solutions. - Developing and maintaining RESTful APIs to ensure seamless integration across multiple systems. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams for end-to-end solutions, including coding, unit testing, and defect resolution. - Ensuring application performance, scalability, and security through best practices in coding and deployment. - Participating in the full software development lifecycle from concept and design to implementation and support. - Mentoring junior engineers and providing technical guidance to the team. - Working closely with DevOps teams for CI/CD and troubleshooting deployment issues. Your required skills for this role include: - 8+ years of experience in software development, with strong expertise in Node.js and TypeScript. - 5+ years of experience in front-end development using React or similar frameworks. - Hands-on experience with LLMs, AI-driven workflows, and building agentic AI applications. - Strong knowledge of workflow platforms (e.g., Camunda) and business process automation. - Proven experience in API design and integration across diverse systems. - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and microservices architecture. - Understanding of DevOps practices, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and automated deployments. - Solid grasp of software design patterns, best practices, and Agile methodologies. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to lead technical discussions.
