Senior Software Engineer

Role Overview: As a Senior Software Engineer at Ivanti, you will have the opportunity to architect and build industry-leading platforms that ensure the security of client data and the smooth operation of systems. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain secure, cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture on AWS or Azure. - Implement robust unit testing, modern DevOps practices, and efficient CI/CD pipelines for rapid and reliable software delivery. - Engineer solutions that integrate RDBMS/NoSQL databases to ensure performance and security at a global scale. - Work closely with product managers, UI/UX, QA, and fellow engineers to translate customer needs into user-focused, agile deliverables. - Share knowledge through leading by example, code reviews, and supporting the growth of junior engineers. - Help evolve engineering standards and foster a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and teamwork. - Guide the adoption of new technologies related to identity management, cloud security, and DevOps toolchains. Qualifications Required: - 6+ years of experience in building and delivering complex software solutions with a strong foundation in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices. - Experience in cloud-native application development on AWS and/or Azure. - Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, SOA, and database technologies, including both RDBMS and NoSQL. - Hands-on expertise with CI/CD, testing frameworks, Agile/Scrum, and DevOps tools. - Experience in leading or mentoring diverse engineering teams. - Excellent communication skills to effectively break down technical concepts and collaborate. - Proven problem-solving abilities in fast-paced, collaborative environments. - Familiarity with software security standards and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus. - Nice to have: experience with SAML, OAuth, identity management, PKI/certificates, and global, cross-functional teams.
