Job Description

Role Overview: You will be joining Brightly Software as an engineer to design, implement, deliver, and support innovative features in next-generation software applications. You will work closely with top-notch engineers and product teams in a fast-paced environment, applying your deep knowledge of computer science and programming principles to create impactful solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Drive the design and building of innovative and performant features in software applications - Develop, integrate, and document libraries and frameworks for scalable development across multiple projects - Build and track quality into the agile product lifecycle encompassing requirements, design, code, testing, delivery, and support - Write clear and maintainable full-stack solutions that scale and adhere to existing standards - Understand company goals, metrics, and align technical goals with the team - Advise product owners and UX on technical feasibility and participate in product planning sessions - Support products, identify and fix root causes of production incidents, and imbibe a DevOps mindset - Own product quality, address production defects, and embed a DevOps mentality within the team - Serve as a technical lead when needed, mentor junior engineers, and stay current with technology trends - Partner with various stakeholders across the engineering practice in an agile environment, driving continuous improvement processes Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience - 5-7 years of full-stack development experience with .NET and modern JavaScript frameworks - Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, OOP, RESTful APIs, SOA, microservices, design patterns, SOLID principles, unit testing, SQL, Agile methodologies, CI/CD, logging, monitoring, and performance optimization What makes you a standout: - Backend skills: C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Entity Framework, SQL Server, Oracle - Frontend skills: Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, REST API integration, responsive design, UI/UX principles - Tools & DevOps: Visual Studio, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Cloud services (AWS, Azure), open-source contributions, certifications in .NET, Azure, Agile practices, experience with Agile at scale, participation in developer communities or meetups Additional Company Details: Brightly Software is guided by a vision of community that serves the ambitions and well-being of all people.
