Senior Software Engineer

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chennai for a Senior Software Engineer at Ford Motor Company. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deploy innovative software solutions for cutting-edge automotive technologies. Day-to-day responsibilities include back-end development, ensuring code quality, debugging, and driving application performance improvements. You will also participate in technical discussions, contribute to solution architecture, and mentor junior team members.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, with expertise in algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
• Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Software Development, including working with APIs and system architecture.
• Advanced skills in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
• Experience designing scalable and high-performance systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and solve complex technical challenges.
• Familiarity with automotive software development is a plus.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
