Job Description

As a Senior Software Engineer - Automation at Flexera, you will play a vital role in contributing to the quality of products through effective and scalable automation. Your responsibilities will include: - Implementing and maintaining automated test suites for cloud-native applications and services - Collaborating with senior engineers, QA, and product stakeholders to identify test areas with high ROI - Developing reusable test components and contributing to automation infrastructure improvements - Analyzing test results, identifying issues, and participating in defect resolution discussions - Supporting CI/CD integration efforts by embedding automation into build and release workflows - Staying current with industry best practices in automation, testing methodologies, and relevant tooling Qualifications: Mandatory: - 6+ years of experience in Quality and Automation role - 4+ years of experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or other test automation frameworks - Experience in building Automation frameworks - 2+ years of experience working with SaaS solutions and microservices environment - Strong debugging skills - Strong experience with at least one of the three major hyper-scalers (AWS, Azure, or GCP) - Working knowledge of Kubernetes - 2+ years of experience with Backend and API automation with Python or equivalent - Experience with CI/CD processes and tools Nice to Have: - Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible - Awareness of observability and performance testing tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Jmeter etc.) Flexera values diversity, equity, and inclusion in its workforce and is committed to fostering a welcoming environment for all.
