Senior Software Development Engineers-Java Developer

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, prototype, and demonstrate new features and components of front-end and back-end to users to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Assist in the design, implementation, and optimization of approaches, tools, and workflows.
• Collaborate with technical teams, business teams, and product managers to ensure code meets their vision.
• Design solutions to meet functional and technical requirements.
• Align to Security/Compliance frameworks and controls requirements.
• Own quality posture, including writing automated tests ideally before writing code.
• Write high-quality code following best practices.
• Develop delivery pipelines and automated deployment scripts.
• Configure services such as databases and monitoring.
• Implement Service Reliability Engineering practices.
• Fix problems from development through production phases, including on-call support.
• Work in distributed agile teams using Scrum, SAFe, XP, or similar frameworks.
• Design, develop, and deploy RESTful microservices.
• Apply DevOps principles, practices, and tools in an enterprise environment.
• Engineer software within AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud infrastructure including S3, DynamoDB/DocumentDB, EC2, API Gateway, etc.
• Experience with RedHat OpenShift on cloud platforms is an added advantage.
• Work with JMS, Kafka, or other messaging systems.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and practice Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Apply application security principles and secure coding practices.
• Work with source control (Git/GitHub/Bitbucket) and build tools.
• Utilize code scanning and quality tools such as SonarQube, Veracode, or BlackDuck.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL, JDBC, and NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK, CloudFormation Templates, Ansible, and YAML.
• Adapt to and incorporate emerging technologies while ensuring safety and security standards.
