Senior Software Developer (React Native)

Role Overview: As a Senior Software Developer (React Native) at TRU IT, you will be responsible for architecting and building performant mobile apps on both iOS and Android platforms. Your role will involve coordinating with teams working on other layers of the product infrastructure. You will play a key part in creating custom reusable components for the mobile application to ensure a seamless user experience. Key Responsibilities: - Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms. - Develop custom theme integrated components, which is a compulsory requirement. - Utilize native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms. - Identify and resolve bugs and performance bottlenecks to achieve a native-like performance. - Collaborate with the open source community to support and implement critical software fixes. - Maintain code quality and implement automated tests to uphold the product's standards. - Transition existing React web apps to React Native seamlessly. Qualifications Required: - Strong understanding of the JavaScript (and TypeScript) language, including ES6+ syntax. - Proficiency in functional or object-oriented programming concepts. - Ability to write well-documented, clean JavaScript code. - Experience in working with third-party dependencies and resolving dependency conflicts effectively. - Familiarity with native build tools such as XCode, Gradle (Android Studio, IntelliJ). - Knowledge of REST APIs, document request model, and offline storage. - Familiarity with automated testing suites like Jest or Mocha.
