Senior Shopify Developer

As a Senior Shopify Developer at Growisto, your role will involve leading the development and customization of Shopify themes to ensure both front-end and back-end excellence. You will collaborate closely with design, marketing, and product teams to implement high-impact, conversion-focused features and functionalities. Your responsibilities will also include optimizing Shopify stores for maximum performance, scalability, and seamless user experience across all devices. Additionally, you will integrate and configure third-party apps and APIs to extend store functionality based on business needs. Identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving complex website issues and bugs in a timely manner will be part of your daily tasks. You will translate client business requirements into technical specifications and scalable solutions, providing ongoing technical support and maintenance for live Shopify stores. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the development and customization of Shopify themes - Collaborate with design, marketing, and product teams to implement high-impact features - Optimize Shopify stores for performance and scalability - Integrate and configure third-party apps and APIs - Troubleshoot and resolve website issues - Translate client requirements into technical solutions - Provide technical support for live Shopify stores - Stay updated with the latest Shopify features and trends - Mentor and guide junior developers Qualifications: - 5-6 years of hands-on experience in Shopify development - Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid templating language - Experience with Shopify APIs and third-party app integrations - Understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles - Knowledge of version control tools, especially Git - Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail - Ability to manage multiple projects independently - Excellent communication and collaboration skills In addition to the above requirements, it is preferred that you have hands-on experience with Shopify Plus and its advanced features, familiarity with headless commerce architectures, and experience developing custom Shopify apps using Node.js, React, or similar technologies.
