Senior Ship Broker

Typical responsibilities would involve: -

Finding and fixing vessels and cargoes between owners, operators and charterers - Maintaining a smooth dialogue with owners and charterers - Drafting charter parties and fixture notes - Solving any issues relating to the fixture concluded - Co-ordinating with agents, post fixture desk of owns/charterers and other brokers - Local and international business development and fact finding to increase company profile and build on existing and new relations with prospective clients.

- Minimum 2 years of direct proven dry bulk chartering/operations experience and the knowledge and skills relating to chartering to get going immediately without any formal training.

If the candidate has minimum of 2-3 years experience in dry bulk chartering (not in operations)

Should have done fixtures in previous organisations

Good negotiations and customer relation skills

Good command over English - Spoken & written

Should be able to do minimum one fixture in a month

(Salary + 2% commission will be given on every fixture.)
