This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Security Engineer - AI/ML in India.

As a Senior Security Engineer specializing in AI/ML, you will lead the development and deployment of advanced machine learning solutions to enhance cybersecurity across enterprise systems. You will design AI models to detect anomalies, automate threat responses, and support predictive threat intelligence, ensuring the protection of critical digital assets. This role provides the opportunity to collaborate with security teams, contribute to research on adversarial ML and behavioral analytics, and integrate cutting-edge AI techniques into existing security platforms. You will work in a dynamic environment that values innovation, continuous learning, and mentorship, with the ability to influence and strengthen organizational security posture.

Accountabilities:

  • Build, implement, and maintain AI/ML models for anomaly detection, threat identification, and malicious activity prevention
  • Collaborate with security analysts and engineers to design scalable AI-driven security solutions
  • Conduct research and development in areas such as adversarial machine learning, behavioral analytics, and predictive threat modeling
  • Integrate machine learning capabilities into existing security platforms (e.g., SIEM, SOAR, EDR)
  • Monitor emerging trends in AI, cybersecurity, and threat intelligence, applying them to enhance security strategies
  • Assess, trial, and deploy new security technologies in collaboration with security architects and engineers
  • Mentor team members and contribute to knowledge sharing across the security engineering team

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience applying AI/ML to security use cases
  • Strong Python programming proficiency and experience with data engineering, feature extraction, and model deployment
  • Expertise in cloud platforms, preferably AWS, including services relevant to AI and security
  • Experience with streaming and batch data processing for security analytics
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins) and agile development practices
  • Familiarity with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, Elastic, or equivalent, including log analysis and incident investigation
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Knowledge of adversarial machine learning, model robustness, or reinforcement learning in security contexts is a plus
