Key Responsibilities: Scrum Facilitation and Agile Leadership Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Promote and embed Agile principles within the cross-functional teams to ensure smooth sprint execution and timely delivery of features. Mentor and coach teams on Agile best practices, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by leading retrospectives and implementing actionable feedback. Facilitate cross-team collaboration to ensure alignment across all teams involved in product lifecycle or client projects. Team Empowerment and Development Actively promote team autonomy by empowering team members to make decisions and encouraging ownership in product delivery. Ensure team members have the tools, training, and support they need to succeed. Be accountable for the growth and development of team members by ensuring lessons learned are applied to improve both product quality and process efficiency. Impediment Removal Identify and remove impediments that hinder the teams progress. Shield teams from external distractions to maintain focus on sprint goals. Act as a liaison between technical teams and stakeholders to resolve conflicts or dependencies. Collaboration with Stakeholders Work closely with Product Managers to refine and prioritize the product backlog based on business objectives. Collaborate with team leads to align technical design strategies with product vision. Ensure requirements are well-defined for upcoming sprints through active collaboration with stakeholders. Project Management Manage project schedules, timelines, budgets, and resources while ensuring high-quality deliverables. Track team performance metrics such as velocity, burn-down charts, cycle time, etc., to identify areas for improvement. Ensure all deliverables meet functional and technical requirements through end-to-end testing. Data-Driven Decision Making Define KPIs to measure product success (e.g., user engagement metrics, crash detection accuracy) and guide future development. Leverage tools to collect data-driven insights for continuous product evolution. Use performance metrics to monitor team efficiency and optimize processes. Continuous Improvement Lead regular retrospectives to gather team feedback and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency. Drive initiatives that improve Agile maturity across teams while maintaining flexibility in execution. Documentation & Reporting Maintain clear documentation of Scrum processes, project statuses, team performance metrics, and lessons learned. Provide regular updates to senior management and leadership on project progress, risks, challenges, and mitigation plans. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Agile certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner), or SAFe Scrum Master certification preferred. Experience: 6+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in software development environments. Proven experience managing multiple projects across diverse technical teams. Experience working in organizations developing products is highly desirable. Skills: Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) with hands-on experience implementing them in cross-functional environments. Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to technical/non-technical stakeholders. Proficiency in project management tools like Jira/Trello/Confluence. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for software delivery processes. Strong analytical skills with experience tracking KPIs like velocity or cycle time. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced certifications such as Certified Agile Coach (ICP-ACC) or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC). Familiarity with user-centered design processes or UX/UI collaboration workflows. Experience integrating hardware and software testing protocols into Agile workflows.
