Job Title : Senior Scientist Nanomaterials Location: Hyderabad Department: Research & Development Job Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Scientist with expertise in Nanomaterials to lead cutting-edge research in the development and characterization of novel nanomaterials with a focus on atomic-level interactions. The ideal candidate will possess a PhD in Physics, Materials Science, or a related field, and have extensive experience in both experimental techniques and theoretical modeling in the domains of nanomaterials. This role offers the opportunity to drive innovative research, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to the development of next-generation materials for a variety of technological applications. Key Responsibilities: Lead and conduct research in the development of nanomaterials with a focus on understanding their atomic and subatomic structure and behavior. Design and execute experiments involving the synthesis, characterization, and manipulation of nanomaterials at the atomic scale, utilizing cutting-edge techniques. Investigate the quantum mechanical properties of nanomaterials and their applications in fields such as nanoelectronics, energy storage, and sensing technologies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, chemists, and data scientists, to integrate atomic-level insights into practical material designs. Develop simulation models and theoretical frameworks to understand the behavior of materials at the atomic and nanoscale levels. Publish and present research findings in peer-reviewed journals, scientific conferences, and industry seminars. Contribute to grant writing and securing research funding for future projects in nanomaterials and atomic physics. Stay current with the latest advancements in nanotechnology, incorporating new findings into ongoing research efforts. Qualifications: PhD in Materials Science, Nanotechnology, or a closely related field. Minimum of 5 years of post-doctoral research experience in the areas of nanomaterials. Extensive experience in atomic-level characterization techniques and nanomaterial synthesis methods. In-depth understanding of quantum mechanics, atomic interactions, and nanomaterial properties. Strong theoretical background in atomic physics and nanoscale phenomena. Proven track record of publishing in high-impact journals and presenting at international conferences. Experience with modeling software (e.g., COMSOL, Gaussian, VASP, MATLAB, or similar) to simulate nanomaterial behavior at the atomic level. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience in collaborative research and the ability to manage interdisciplinary teams. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with advanced computational methods in quantum mechanics and materials modeling. Knowledge of nanomaterial applications in areas like electronics, energy storage, and biotechnology. Hands-on experience with laser spectroscopy, optical characterization, or electronic properties measurement of nanomaterials. Experience in mentor roles, guiding students and junior researchers in both theoretical and experimental research
