Position: Senior Sales Manager Business Area: Valve Automation Location: Bhosari Industrial Area Reporting to: Managing Partner About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Manager for our Valve Automation Business. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving the growth of our product offerings, particularly in the field of valve automation systems. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sales management, technical expertise in valve automation, and a solid understanding of business development strategies. Key Responsibilities: Sales Leadership: Lead, manage, and grow the valve automation business segment with a focus on ball valve actuators and butterfly valve automation systems. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets. Oversee order booking, ensuring timely and accurate processing of customer orders. Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and markets within the valve automation industry. Drive proactive engagement with key clients and stakeholders to foster long-term relationships and generate revenue growth. Conduct competitor analysis and market intelligence to stay ahead of industry trends and identify new product opportunities. Customer Relationship Management: Establish and nurture relationships with new and existing clients, addressing their needs, challenges, and providing tailored solutions. Work closely with the technical and project teams to ensure seamless execution of projects from sales to delivery. Team Collaboration and Mentorship: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, technical support, and customer service to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior sales team members and support their professional development. Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Regularly report on sales performance, trends, and forecasts to senior management. Track and analyze key performance metrics to ensure alignment with business objectives. Technical Expertise and Training: Demonstrate a deep understanding of valve automation products, including ball valve actuators and butterfly valve systems. Stay up-to-date with industry innovations, and provide technical training and support to clients as necessary. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering (B.E.) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) is required. MBA or equivalent qualification is highly preferred, with strong management skills. Experience: Minimum 9-12 years of relevant work experience in valve automation sales, with hands-on expertise in ball valve actuators, butterfly valve automation systems, and instrumentation. Proven track record in business development, sales strategy implementation, and achieving revenue targets. Specialized Knowledge: Strong knowledge of valve automation systems, including actuators and control systems. Preferred experience with instrumentation and related control systems. Skills and Abilities: Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to engage clients at all levels. Strong business acumen and order-booking skills. Ability to analyze market trends and capitalize on business opportunities. Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced certifications or training related to valve automation and instrumentation. Experience with project management and large-scale systems integration.
