Role Overview: As the Senior Sales Manager for HGS’s India operations, you will be fully responsible for leading and executing all sales-related activities across the Indian market. Your primary focus will be to drive sales of centrifugal pumps, expand the customer base, manage local agents, and enhance brand presence in key sectors including commercial, industrial, and oil & gas. Key Responsibilities: Drive sales of centrifugal pumps targeting EPC contractors and end-users across India. Manage pre-qualification activities with key Indian end-users to expand market eligibility. Identify and create new business opportunities through direct customer engagement. Establish, manage, and control local sales and service networks, including agents and dealers. Build and maintain a robust network of sales dealers and engineering consultants. Provide strategic input and local market advice to the Korea headquarters during bidding and sales negotiations. Monitor competitor activities, analyze market trends, and report Voice of the Customer (VoC) insights. Work continuously to improve the Hyosung pump brand image and market reputation. Industry Focus: Commercial & Industrial Applications: Water systems, building services, chemical processes, ISO standard pumps. Oil & Gas Sector: API and ANSI standard pumps. Preferred Candidate Profile: Experience: Minimum 15 years in industrial sales, with a strong background in pumps or related mechanical systems. Expertise: Proven track record in EPC and government project sales. Established relationships with key engineering and procurement organizations. Deep understanding of the Indian pump sales and distribution network. Experience in leading and mentoring a sales team. Education: Bachelor’s or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering or a business-related field. Language Skills: Fluency in English is a must. Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Additional Requirements: Clean criminal record and eligible for international travel.
