Job Description

Office Location Haryana, Gurugram Maharashtra, Pune Tamil Nadu, Chennai Role & Responsibilities Achieve Revenue and Market Share Targets: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets. Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to expand market share. Customer Engagement and Relationship Management: Identify and develop relationships with key accounts and potential customers. Set up product demonstrations, discuss technical solutions, and manage complex negotiations to secure contracts. Market Analysis and Strategic Planning: Analyze market trends and competitors to identify growth opportunities. Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the Director of Sales, highlighting performance and strategic insights. Cross-functional Collaboration and Seamless Execution: Collaborate with internal stakeholders (operations, finance, customer service) to ensure seamless execution of sales plans. Partner with customers during the initial days of product usage to ensure faster adoption and a smooth handover to account managers, ensuring a seamless customer experience. Ideal Candidate Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field. An MBA from a reputable B-School is highly desirable. A minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales within the Shipping and Logistics Freight Forwarding industry. At least 4-6 years of experience in Business Development, preferably in a B2B setting. Experience in SaaS or Logistics SaaS companies/start-ups is a plus. Excellent ability to communicate effectively and build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts.
