Senior Resident / Attending Consultant-Radiation Oncology

Role Overview: You will be responsible for making decisions to send specific investigations and further hematological analysis. You will liaise with other medical professionals such as clinical hematologists to discuss patient treatment plans. Additionally, you will produce quantitative data in the form of reports and provide key information to medical staff about a patient's condition. Furthermore, you will understand and explain site-specific effects and side-effects of radiation to the patients and liaise with various medical staff for patient-specific needs. Key Responsibilities: - Record and administer patient information literature for each disease site - Supervise the correct preparation of immobilization devices and order special set-ups for simulation for Linacs/Cyberknife/Brachytherapy - Fusion of pre-surgery, intra-op, or multi-modal radiological images - Contour the gross tumor, clinical, internal target volumes, planning target volumes, organs at risk, and planning risk volumes - Verify cross-sectional doses, interpret the dose volume histogram, and interact with Medical Physicists - Prescribe the dose for delivery, prepare dose chart for RTT, and prescribe the target doses and constraints for organs and risk & planning risk volumes - Liaise with nursing staff, dietician, RTTs, Medical Physicists, and Radiologists for patient-specific needs - Liaise with Radiology and nursing for fiducial placement, check fiducial visualization, and perform LOT check on Cyberknife Qualification Required: - Candidate must be MD/DNB in Radiation Oncology - Candidate must have 0 to 4 years of experience Please note that interested candidates can share their CVs at neha.bhatnagar@medanta.org.,
